New Updates

1/1/24

Happy New Year! I hope this message finds you in good health and spirits. I wish you a year full of joy, peace, and prosperity.

As you know, I am an independent gastroenterologist with 25 years of experience in diagnosing and treating digestive disorders. I offer telehealth services that allow you to consult with me from the comfort of your home, saving you time and hassle. I hope to get you a quicker appointment and a quicker procedure. I personally see all my patients.

I also perform all procedures myself in outpatient endoscopy centers that are equipped with the latest technology and follow the highest standards of safety and hygiene. By doing so, I ensure that you receive the best service and the most cost-effective treatment possible. Hospital procedures as you know cost a whole lot more.

Whether you need a routine check-up, a stomach scope, colonoscopy, or a complex procedure, I am here to help you. Since I am an independent physician and self-employed, I can refer you to any expert you and I choose without constraints of referring within a hospital system. I also appreciate your referrals to your family and friends who may benefit from my services. Remember screeing first colonoscopy starts at age 45. Also please remember you, your family and friends have the right to ask the primary doctor to refer to me if you or they choose to.

Thank you for choosing me as your gastroenterologist. I value your trust and loyalty. I look forward to seeing you soon and continuing to serve you in 2024.

I will continue TeleHealth visits and in-person procedures. With new concerns about the delta variant and the current thinking that we all have to accept-moving away from COVID-zero to COVID-coexist, currently I feel the best approach is the hybrid approach. I and my staff will do all we can to provide the best Gastroenterology care. Please read this article about the many advantages of TeleHealth. Gastroenterologists have successfully transitioned to virtual medicine as discussed in the article. Please call my office at 314-729-1717 for your Gastroenterology needs.

As we continue to battle COVID, we will also continue to battle for you. Given the fluid situation and the concern about a fall surge in Coronavirus, I am exclusively using the TeleHealth platform (very easy-we will guide you) to see patients so that you, your family members and my staff stay safe. Rest assured that the best possible care will be given to you. An added bonus is no travel time.

Using the TeleHealth program, I can digitally show you pictures of your stomach, colon, gallbladder, pancreas etc. and also how procedures are done, send you the informational articles, send you secure texts and also email you. You also have the option of coming to the office on Fridays where a staff member can help you with paper forms etc if you wish to fill them that way.

I do procedures in endoscopy centers as you need them and with the utmost safety precautions.

The goal here is to provide the best care with the utmost safety.

For your convenience, you can make your appointments right on this website.

A payment button is at the top of each page of the website so you can pay your copays and balances.

Please do not hesitate to call us at 314-729-1717 if you have any questions.

PLEASE BE SAFE!

Hello everyone,

As we continue to fight the Coronavirus pandemic, we will be gradually increasing our practice hours and starting with semi-elective and elective procedures. As many of you are aware, we had to stop doing these procedures per guidelines of Gastroenterology societies to direct resources towards Coronavirus.

Please call our office if you are a new patient or an existing patient or if your procedure had to be canceled. We will be happy to work with you to provide the best care and schedule your procedures. Also, please be patient since the services are not fully restored yet. Patient and staff safety are of utmost importance and we will strive to provide that.

We appreciate all of you and look forward to serving you soon.

Regards,

Dr. Bhat.
